I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
